Admissions

The admission process at Sun Coast Hospital is conducted as fairly as possible. The program is now approved for 8 slots with a 3-3-2 cycle. Interview day usually takes place in the month of November. The program does not currently participate in the match. Please see link for application. Rotating with the program is strongly recommended.

Before you begin your Dermatology residency, you need to complete one year of clinically based training. The AOA mandates a one year, non-linked, traditional rotating internship program, during which you will need to make a separate application to the dermatology residency program.
