The dermatology residency program at Largo Medical Center, Sun Coast Hospital campus, is sponsored by NOVA/Southeastern University. It is a fully approved, three-year program which provides trainees with the educational and practical experience that will enable them to deliver superior specialized skin care to patients. There is particular emphasis on clinical dermatology, dermatopathology and dermatologic surgery.

Of great importance is our mission to educate and train the best in dermatology residents. We design a comprehensive curriculum that is constantly enhanced with resident and faculty feedback. Didactics are held for two half days per week which include Kodachrome review, Textbook review, Grand Rounds, Dermatopathology, Journal Clubs, and Didactic lectures. Topics are selected and integrated to cover virtually all of Dermatology.
